Dear Friends,

We want to wish each one of you a very Merry Christmas and may God bless you all as this New Year begins.  It is our prayer that you have a marvelous time together with family. Christmas is always a great opportunity to be with the family and meditate on the best gift that God has given us, His Son Jesus Christ. Enjoy, laugh and share a delicious Christmas dinner.

Isaiah 9:6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

Our family: Robyn has been suffering from pneumonia that has left her bedridden for several weeks, without a voice, with a lot of cough and very tired. We have gone to the doctor a couple of times; she is taking medicine and thanks to the Lord she has begun to feel a little better. The doctor also discovered she has nocturnal high blood pressure and has been given some new medicines for that.  We would appreciate it if you could pray for her and for a series of tests that she is undergoing to discover other health problems that she has and that have weakened her in recent years.

Andres is now 11, has finished his fifth grade successfully with great grades! Our seasons are the opposite here so now he is enjoying summer vacation.

We thank the Lord for his care of our daughter Jacqueline who is 20 years old and lives with her sister. On Wednesday the 11th, she had a car accident and although the vehicle had significant damage, she came out unharmed.

Natalia, 28 years old, has been suffering with a lot of kidney stones and sickness, pray for her as she is doing exams that the doctors will be able to help her.

Miguel and family are doing good. He will graduate from the Police Academy December 27th! He has always loved justice and is looking forward to this new career.  Sarah-Cate continues to homeschool, and the grandchildren are healthy and growing; Eliseo is 7 ½, Lilia is 5, Belen is 3 ½, and Leona will be 2 in January.

I, Alejandro, keep very busy with the ministry, pray for strength and health for me so I’ll be able to serve the Lord for many more years.

Our Ministry:

Along with 2 Sunday services, monthly Men’s breakfast, monthly Women’s tea, monthly Couples mtgs, weekly men’s & women’s prayer mtgs, weekly all church prayer mtg & Bible study, weekly Youth group, bi- weekly College & Career, bi-weekly children’s club…

we will share with you some more highlights of the year 2024:

  • 55 young people went to summer camp and there were beautiful decisions for Christ. At the same time, 13 people from our church worked as volunteers at the camp for five weeks.
  • We had a men's retreat with 76 attendees.
  • This year we baptized 17 people.
  • We had a family conference with more than 250 people.
  • 28 women enjoyed the first women's retreat of our church.
  • Even though several families from our church have moved within and outside the country, the Lord has brought us more than 40 new people in the last five months and attendance remains at 200 people.
  • Our church elected three new deacons.
  • Our church began the process to ordain a young man in his 30’s to join the pastoral team.
  • 10 members from our church studied the Word of God in different seminaries.
  • The Good Samaritan, the Hospital Ministry from our church, distributed 2,500 evangelistic brochures, served over 2,600 hot drinks and over 1,500 sandwiches this year.
  • A group of members from our church distributed more than 3,000 evangelistic brochures in four different cemeteries for All Saints' Day.
  • Pray for this Saturday as we have an evangelistic Christmas program.

Our Building Project: By the grace of God, we have made progress on the foundations of the building and the installation of a septic system. The church here in Rancagua has already given this year $20,000, which we are using for the septic, foundations and work that we are currently doing.

For now, we will have to pause the work due to lack of funds. After the pandemic, materials doubled in value, and this meant that we could not achieve what we had planned originally. The architect estimates that we need about $100,000 dollars more to be able to finish the foundations, the cement slab and to put up the metal structure.  The urgency we have to raise these funds is because once we have the main structure erected, there is a donor who is waiting to bring the supplies and come to put on the roof.  There is another donor that will send containers with supplies for finishing the inside and outside. If you want to donate to this project, below is the information.
